The weekend of the 25th & 26th October 2014, the CTEC put on a final get together and steam up before the winter months in Little Chalfont,
Bucks.
On the Saturday visitors got to see around 8 full size steam engines, 4 live steam miniatures, 7 commercials, 4 tractors and 7 vintage cars.
The weather was fantastic and warm for this time of year and everybody got to enjoy meeting old friends and standing around the impressive exhibits that where on display.
On the Sunday the full size steam engines, one miniature and several commercials vehicles ventured out onto the roads and travelled around Chorleywood. After a couple of miles they all stopped off at
the Red Lion in Chenis for lunch.
Thanks goes out to all the members and friends who brought their exhibits to show off and for all of the visitors who turned up to support the club. Another huge thanks goes to the ladies who did not
stop cooking and pouring tea all day, to keep everyone well fed.
Take a look at last year’s highlights.
